As a result of the bush fires in November 2019, Skel Price bridge over Blaxland Creek suffered extensive damage to both abutments and two spans. Specialist timber bridge crews spent many weeks returning the structure to a better than pre fire state.

The bridge is the only access to several properties on the north banks of the creek.  Prior to the repair, there was no vehicle access so resident were require to walk to their residences. The client and locals are very pleased with the outcome.
