Coastal Works annually completes a significant roads reconstruction program including pavement rehabilitation, road realignments, guardrail works and associated drainage, cycleway and footpath works. This type of work has become ‘bread and butter’ for the Coastal Works team. We operate our own road plant fleet, enabling us to undertake any type of road construction and repair projects.
The advantage of employing Coastal Works on road projects is that we have become a ‘one stop shop’ providing a full service from pavement investigation and design to final project delivery. Our qualified team are aware of the intricacies of road works and rigorously apply environmental, safety and quality systems to ensure that risk to clients are minimised and exceptional projects are delivered to our clients.
Complementing the road construction teams is an experience roads maintenance team who often assist in providing bitumen patching, line marking and signage to our major projects.
Some major projects undertaken recently include:
- The realignment of Cook Drive, Coffs Harbour intersection with the Pacific Highway
- Reconstruction of pavements in Sapphire Beach
- Bitumen resealing of local and regional roads
- Transport interchange – Park Avenue, Coffs Harbour
- Beryl Street / Pacific Highway traffic lights installation (nightworks)
