Walcha Council contacted Coastal Works for assistance in the reconstruction of Dog Trap Creek Bridge after the original contractor was unable to finish the structure. The new bridge was constructed on the existing sub structure, which required modification to accept the prestressed deck units.

The project came with many difficulties including very low temperatures which hindered the placement of concrete for the abutments but the bridge was completed in less than four weeks.
