Coastal Works has broad experience in building and maintaining timber, concrete and composite material bridges. There is a dedicated and professional team of field and engineering staff, capable of design and construct projects, as well as being experienced in single component replacement work on the more complicated timber bridge structures.

Our approach to our clients is simple, we provide bridge solutions that meet the specific needs of the clients no matter what the circumstances. Coastal Works staff construct between 5 to 7 bridges per year for a diverse range of clients including Local and State Government, private clients and agencies.

The variety of works undertaken by Coastal Works range from simple box and piped culvert crossings to precast and poured insitu concrete structures. Timber bridge replacement is becoming a rare skill in the day of precast concrete, however Coastal Works is practiced in both the maintenance and construction of timber bridges.

Coastal Works is also experienced in marine works, wharf and jetty maintenance and construction. We have completed pile replacement projects at marinas and routinely maintain a 68 span timber jetty structure, carrying out component repair and replacement.
