Majors Creek Bridge - Fixing Country Bridges

Year Completed: 2021
Client: Kempsey Shire Council

Coastal Works designed and constructed a 72 metre multi span bridge on Moparrabah Road, Willawarrin (west of Kempsey) to replace a fire damaged low-level bridge and causeway. The bridge was to be 60 metres but significant flooding during the design phase resulted in the bridge needing to be extended to 72 metres.

The bridge was constructed using Coastal Works standard steel girders with concrete deck panels to ensure a short construction period with the bridge being completed just prior to Christmas 2021.
