Coffs Harbour Airport Upgrade

Cost: $3.3M

Contractor: Coastal Works

Client: Coffs Harbour Airport

Client Referee: Dennis Martin

As part of the $5.1 million NSW government funded Coffs Harbour Airport upgrade, Coastal Works was engaged to undertake the civil works component of the apron and taxiway expansion.

The works included the construction of new drainage lines, over 4000m³ of earthworks and 7000T of asphalt.  Coastal Works crews overcame many challenges including working around airport operations, constructing pavement below the water table and meeting the stringent technical requirements of the design and specification.
